Today my Ruby Hexagon Quilt is being featured over at Quilt Story! If you are stopping by from there, welcome!
I took the time to update my Quilt Finish pages - you'll find the tabs at the top of the blog.
I've been continuing on the kid sewing theme this past weekend, but today I'll show you a quilt I did for a friend of mine who is expecting a baby girl at the end of May, along with a few details of how I put it together.
It all started with the 1.5" x 8.5" cream batik strips that I had cut for another quilt, but then ran out of fabric. I then went Stash hunting for some complementary girly prints and cut more 1.5" x 8.5" strips.
One of the ladies at the sewing day a couple of weekends ago said it looked like a Split Rail Fence pattern. So, even though I was making it up as a went along, it just goes to show you there's nothing new under the sun.
