WIP Wednesday 11.4.15

Welcome to Wednesday.  My current WIP continues to be my mini for the Schnitzel and Boo Mini Quilt Swap.
I'm planning to pick up some turquoise floss today for the center circle.  Ship date is Monday, so I'd like to get this finished up sooner than later.

I had originally intended this as a leader/ender project, but its really too complicated for that, plus I've been moving it around for months now, so it is next on the list to at least get the blocks pieced.  The fabrics are primarily French General Chateau Rouge.
I've also been going through the stack of quilting books and magazines by my bed.  I'm looking forward to sewing in 2016 with less "have tos" and more "want tos". So to that effect I'm making plans.  Hopefully without buying more fabric.....  Probably time for another fabric fast.

Linking with Lee, where you can see lots of other WIPs as well.

I am in LOVE with that Dresden of yours--especially with that stitching around the outer edge. Your hand touch really makes this quilt--lucky quilter whoever gets this one! I sent mine off before we left for Vegas (3-day stint) and on the way up here saw that she received it and likes it. Whew. Last swap of the year, and like you noted, maybe now I'll be able to focus on the things I want to make, rather than on the have-tos.
