Sewvivor - The Life of Riley - Rachel

I might be slightly off my rocker, but I've decided to put an entry in to Sewvivor.  It is the quilter's edition!  How could I not!?
Sewvivor is hosted by Rach at Family Ever After. (great name, of course!)

After much debate and thought, I am entering my Ruby Hexagon Baby Quilt.
I made this quilt two years ago for a dear friend who was expecting her first girl after three boys!  The hexagons and diamonds were pieced with a combination of machine and hand piecing.  It is made from one of my favorite lines ever, Ruby by Bonnie and Camille.
The back is a super soft and snuggly flannel, also from the Ruby line.
I did all the quilting myself, free-motion on my domestic sewing machine.

I even included a special hexagon label on the back.

 Thanks for stopping by!

i have just come to love hexagons so much, i have to convince myself to look for other ideas sometimes. this is such a cute quilt, the color combos are fantastic, and it is perfect for a little girl without screaming "hot pink & sparkles"
best of luck to you in the auditions!

This is lovely! I've used this fabric is smaller items since I had fat quarters of it. So cute!
