This quilt made it safely to it's destination, so I thought I'd share.
Thornberry (a really great blog - one of the first I started reading). She sent me some apple cozies a while back - this was my gift to her. Along with two of yesterday's dahlias for her lovely little girls.
It's about 24" square.
This was the first time I tried starching my fabrics before cutting and sewing the quilt together. It was pretty nice. I will probably do this more in the future.
I have all the blocks for a sister quilt waiting in the wings.
Came over from Thornberry, love the little quilt and the dahlias, great ideas. Nice to see all the colours what with all the snow this time of year.
I LOVE the texture on this quilt!
Amazing! You can tell so much love goes into each stitch! Beautiful.
Thanks for linking up!
Hello, I am your newest follower I found you via Paisley Passions. I love to quilt, I've never heard of startching the fabric I'm gonna give that a try. Did you quilt it with a bunch of small circles? It is beautiful!!
This is very pretty. I love quilts and would really like to make one. Someday...! LOL
It's so pretty! I love the colors and the "pebbles." Thanks so much for linking up :)
This is really pretty, and I love the pebbles-- so unique and a great texture! I featured you today on my quilt round up :)
I have never thought of starching my quilt pieces. I might have to give this a try. Thanks for sharing this at Fantastic Friday. I hope to see you again today!
