My Creative Space

A couple of projects for the next couple of days.

I stayed up quite late Tuesday night working on this one.  Just had to get it out.  Those are 1 inch squares.  They will be 1/2 inch finished.  Not sure yet what to do with the border.  It might not stay black.  Any suggestions?
And getting ready for some Team Spirit!

Check out some other creative spaces here at Kootoyoo.

I think the black border looks good, maybe you could quilt it with circles of swirls?

One inch squares!? You are so brave. I would border this with a dark cream almost tan - just to lighten it up. Just an idea.

1 inch squares? You should have made it a strip quilt. In the pics the black looks more blue or gray and I like it. Maybe pick up the blueish in that lightest swirly fabric.

thats a lot of cutting and stitching. you are a legend. i like the black. i am just finishing one with 2" squares for my big girl, and i chose not to have a border because she prefers a minimalist look. i was happy with the result
