It was a good Christmas in the creative realm for me. I added these to my list because I've always wanted to try some. I confess I was skeptical, but I've been pleasantly surprised by these. I'll show you a finish I used these on in a couple days.
It's always hard to spend the money on these, so its nice to get them as a gift.
I put the bobbins on the list with the intention of carrying it around for hand work.
Yay! A couple of new books for new projects. I seem to have amassed a few jelly rolls that I'd like to use up and I'm looking forward to trying some structured bags.
My SIL bought me some fabric at a Pottery Barn store. Apparently they make exclusive fabric. I feel lucky to have some!
And the king! Mr. Riley bought be a new Rowenta! My other one has been on the fritz, which Mr. Riley has fixed a couple of times. He said he got this one 'because it looked like a phaser'. It is so pretty, and irons beautifully. I had my first Rowenta for about 15 years, so I have high hopes for this one! (I think I should have gotten a new ironing board cover as well!)
