I bought myself some fabric...

...And other good things to show you.

First up,Turnips.
I grew these babies myself.  From seed.  I am not an experienced gardener, so these are giving me quite a thrill.
Next is a big Thank You to one of my wonderful readers.  It's always fun to get packages in the mail, and even more so when they are unexpected!  She was the winner of one of the giveaways and sent me some beautiful handmade pot holders.
Hey! You with the nose, get out of my picture!
And the fabric.  Like I need more.  On vacation our family went to see the locks at Sault Ste. Marie (Soo Saint Marie).  And I found a quilt shop!  The Quilted Moose.  A small but delightful shop, and I couldn't not buy anything, so I picked out some lovely fat quarters.
I think they may get used in the upcoming workshop I'm taking with David Taylor.  (If you live in, or can get to SE WI, there are still some openings.)  See that picture on my header?  I'm hoping to turn it into a quilt....
