WIP Wednesday 11.13.13

I'm starting to feel like we're already in the Christmas Crunch time.  Honestly I'm freaking out just a little.  I just don't have the time that I used to have.  I am trying to slow down and enjoy the 'just sit' (and nurse) moments, but with my personality, that can be hard.

So let's take a look at what has gotten done:
Rainbow quilt quilted and machine part of binding done.  Going to finish this one by hand.  As soon as I can sit down!
A stack of fabrics for baskets. (teacher gifts)

Practice basket #1.  A little too floppy, and maybe too long?

Last weeks finish!  Disappearing 9-patch.

We're already half way through November; lets look at the list.

November:
Christmas Tree Kit
Teacher Gifts - 5 fabric baskets
3 Stockings  (2 for Mina, 1 for BIL)
Log Cabin pieces cut (carried from October)
Log Cabin Top Assembled

Dec:
Log Cabin quilted & bound
Christmas wall hangings (x2)
Rainbow Quilt - QUILTED, FINISH BINDING
Pearadise Quilt
 Hah!  Better get moving!

I love the quilting on your rainbow quilt. I hope you will relax and stop stressing. Make the most important things first and the rest, just do what you do and leave the rest.

Do take time to sit and enjoy the baby before she's too big. Your quilts are wonderful and will always be there along with even more WIPS if you're like me. Love the quilting on the rainbow quilt. Makes me feel happy.

When you see one of my quilts at guild with the same quilting as your rainbow quilt, smile and know that mimicry is the highest form of flattery :)
