A snuggle sized Disappearing 9 Patch.
It started as a challenge of sorts from my Guild-as many members as wanted could put together a disappearing 9 patch and we'd share them in July.
I had a top all put together by the end of February.
I took apart a seam to make two quilts and then they sat for many months. It didn't seem so pressing since baby girl was due in July and I knew I wouldn't be able to share my quilts at guild. I finally got them basted in September and took them with me up north to quilt. Wednesday I got the binding on. Yesterday washed and photographed (on a cloudy windy day) and the first one blogged today.
This one is quilted with wavy lines along the seams.
The back is a home dec weight cotton.
The facts:
46" x 63"
Fabrics: All kinds from my stash
Batting: A thin poly from Joann
Thread: Coats and Clark Cotton in White
I will be donating this one to Operation Snuggles - quilts for children whose parents are in the military and being deployed.

I really like the wavy quilting - I'll have to get up the nerve to try that some time!
Oh how lovely that you are donating such a beautiful quilt. It is beautiful. Lovely dovely for sure. Bravo to you.
I love the serpentine quilting. Yours is so nice and even.
Congrats on all the finishing up of a long-term project. Love the wiggly quilting lines--always a favorite, and bravo to you for finishing up an FAL candidate. (I'm soooo behind!)
