Randomness

Some definite randomness today!
It was 100 day at school Monday.  WD wore 100 socks.  He won first prize for 2nd grade!
E & I made a skirt with 100 different strips of fabric.  However, you may notice she's in her jammies.  She was too sick to go to school for 100 day.  We hung it up in the closet for next year.
The younger two boys moving snow.
My living room looked like this for three days.  I didn't mind at all.  It drove me a little batty.  I made them clean it up last night.
What do you do with your trims and shavings?  We use them to start our fires.  It works really well!

Thanks Cindy!

That is a great idea to use scraps as kindling! I will have to keep mine for the cabin.

Great way to use scraps! I've packed pin cushions with them before, and if they're at least 1.5" square and pretty fabric I keep them for my tiny patchwork quilt. Also I keep cute scraps that are at least 1" wide and several inches long and use them for strip piecing tiny blocks for pincushions. A little crazy probably, lol.

My brothers room always looked like your living room when we were growing up, he was crazy about Legos!

Hum... No fireplace. But I don't have any answers either. I'll enjoy seeing other people's answers.

I have 4 boys, ages 8, 6, 5, and 18 mths. I TOTALLY get the Lego problem, er fun. :)

As for the scraps, I often let my kiddos go through them and make something during craft time. They like it!

Lego is the best! But it is a little like bunnies!

What a great idea to use the trimmings as kindling! They will stop us having to buy firelighters. My husband and my blood pressure is rising seeing that lego on the floor! We love our boys playing with it, but can't stand it all out over the floor. We know true pain, treading on lego with bare feet!
