WIP WED 1.9.13

This is the first time I've linked up in a while with Freshly Pieced and WIP Wednesday.  Heidi is guest hosting.  How cool is that?  I wonder how you get that gig?

Anyway,  here's what I've been working on, now that I've gotten to spend some quality time with my machine.

These will be for a Very Special Quilt.  I shall tell you more when it is done.  The goal is to have the top done today.  Maybe even baste tonight??? Actually, I don't know if I have backing yet, so we'll have to check out the bins.
I turned this lovely pile of UFO blocks into a quilt top yesterday.  So far is is about 36" square.  Good baby size, I think.  I've even got the backing ready for this one and the binding cut out.
I've been need a 'Leaders & Enders' Project, and thought I had one, until I realized by background fabric was too blah.  So I think instead I am going to attack the scrap bin.  Ugly quilt #1 is officially on its way.  I am just going to sew stuff together.  Yep.  It will be horrible.  But functional.  Probably a car quilt, or beach quilt.

Head on over to see what everyone else is working on - or tell me about your plans!

I think you're brilliant to create a Leaders/Enders quilt. I have a car quilt and I love it, and yes, it was kind of one that biffed, but I love the fact that I don't have to "worry" about it--it's not precious so it goes everywhere.

You are getting way more done than I am! I'm impressed, and it's fun to see your projects.
