Simplicity 5935, Baby clothes

I did some baby clothes sewing last week.  A bonnet and two pairs of pants.  All from Simplicity 5935 which I've had for 10 years.
I bought the fabric specifically for the bonnet, and to make it reversible.  There was plenty left to make the pants.

I cut the pinks in the XS size and then cut the others a bit smaller, but they both seem to fit fairly well.  The forgiveness of knit!

The bonnet, however turned out a bit too big!

My peanut is a whopping four months old!

Really Random Friday?

I whipped up just a couple more pieces for Baby Girl.  Another peasant dress.  This time I didn't gather the sleeves with elastic.  I like the look better, and it was easier.

And three more pairs of leggings.  She'll be outgrowing all these soon enough, so no more baby sewing for now.
Went school shopping with the kids at Target and found the goodies above!  Quilt patterns must be the new aesthetic?
And my new insulated tote bag! (not from Target)  More quilt pattern goodness.

And lastly, I'm on Instagram!  We finally have a mobile tablet device that supports it!  You can find me there at rsriley77

Leave your Instagram ID in my comments and I'll follow you!  I'm really looking forward to this, I've been wanting it for a long time.
