I hope you've been enjoying the parade of finishes. So, I'm sure you'll appreciate that I've actually got only one WIP today.
I've started working on my Schnitzel and Boo Mini Quilt Swap. My
partner likes reproductions, so I picked up a charm pack and have
started on a dresden plate.
I like it, but I'm not sure I love it. It seems overly simple. I came
across a pattern last night in Missouri Star Block Magazine, that I
think I'm going to try instead. I think I'm having a hard time with the pastels. The turquoise does help it pop, though.
Last night I tried to make a couple of straps to hold chin rests for violins, and wouldn't you know. No snaps. None. Guess I'll be stopping at the store today.....
Lastly, my next Four-In-Art Mini is all ready to go. The reveal day is Sunday, Nov. 1. Make sure to come see all the quilts.
Linking with Lee.
