Twofer Tuesday

Just a couple small projects to share today.  Both were finished before Christmas!

 First up is a cute little 'hang about' that E made.  She did a great job.  We found the kit at Micheal's and I thought it would be something to keep her busy for a while.  She ended up needing some help, not because she couldn't do it, but the instructions were horrible!  Anyway, as she learned, we can always take out stitches!

 This is a mug rug that I made for my SIL.  She has the unfortune of a birthday close to Christmas.  I was contemplating what to get, and while in Starbucks found this great golden mug.  Inspiration was born!

 It was just a simple quilt as you go in strips.  Finished size is something like 10 x 5.  I didn't measure.

 Here's a shot of the complete gift.  Yum.
