I've really only got one WIP this week. After a marathon quilting session on Sunday Si's quilt is quilted. I need to trim it up and get the binding on. I might go back and fix a few spots on the quilting as well. I know it ultimately doesn't matter to anyone but me - but if it will bother me every time I make the bed, I should fix it now!
I came across a fun linky party at Bonnie K Hunter's Blog Quiltville's Quips & Snips. Its about what quilt we have on our bed. I actually have two layered right now. The first was made for me by an aunt. It's called Woven Glory. It won a blue ribbon at the Iowa State Fair!
Underneath that one is one that my mother made. It is a Dutchman's Puzzle pattern. Two layers of warm goodness for Wisconsin.
I have never made a quilt for our bed. The Christmas quilt will be the first - when I get it done.

how fortunate you are to have that legacy of quilting in your family. I especially love the quilt by your aunt...I may spend a bit more time examining that one. Thanks for sharing.
I just love the Woven glory quilt. Do you have a pattern for this quilt? Lucky you to have such nice relations.
