Rose Birthday Cake

The funny thing about my blog is that it doesn't always reflect real life.  The cake I'm about to show you was actually made (and consumed) about a month ago.  I'm just finally getting around to posting about it.
Ain't it perty?

I first saw it on someone's blog who mentioned someone else's blog.  So you can find the original instructions HERE.  Basically you use the largest star tip that you have and swirl the frosting around, and voile! a rose covered cake.

I LOVE THIS you'll have to show me the wrist technique. I think it's beautiful!

Didn't know you could do that with the star tip! You're so multi-talented!
