This quilt made it safely to it's destination, so I thought I'd share.
I sent it to Lara of Thornberry (a really great blog - one of the first I started reading). She sent me some apple cozies a while back - this was my gift to her. Along with two of yesterday's dahlias for her lovely little girls.
It's about 24" square.
Quilted with pebbles.
The fabric: The rectangles are from a charm pack 'sip of summer' from Connecting Threads, that I won at a quilt guild meeting. The purple border was the fabric that wrapped up the charm pack. The green is a Kona Cotton from Joann's. The orange polka-dot backing from Hobby Lobby.
This was the first time I tried starching my fabrics before cutting and sewing the quilt together. It was pretty nice. I will probably do this more in the future.
I have all the blocks for a sister quilt waiting in the wings.

Hello, I am your newest follower I found you via Paisley Passions. I love to quilt, I've never heard of startching the fabric I'm gonna give that a try. Did you quilt it with a bunch of small circles? It is beautiful!!
