Cup of Christmas Tea

Well the Tea is done!  I still have some 'housekeeping' to do, but the event went swimmingly.  What happens at our Cup of Christmas Tea?  It goes like this: A woman from our church volunteers to host a table.  She provides all the decorations and a dessert and invites guests to sit at her table.  Our Tea committee (of which I was chair - for 3 years) puts together a Christmas program of music, fun and a speaker, and does the decorating of the room.  The goal is to share the true meaning of Christmas with the ladies that attend.  We have the gentlemen from the church as our waiters serving the tea and coffee.  Here are a few pictures I have of the evening.  Oh, and the theme was 'The Nutcracker'.

What a fantastic event. The decorations and place settings are spot on and really wonderful.
