It was a good Christmas in the creative realm for me.
It's always hard to spend the money on these, so its nice to get them as a gift.
I put the bobbins on the list with the intention of carrying it around for hand work.
Yay! A couple of new books for new projects. I seem to have amassed a few jelly rolls that I'd like to use up and I'm looking forward to trying some structured bags.
My SIL bought me some fabric at a Pottery Barn store. Apparently they make exclusive fabric. I feel lucky to have some!
And the king! Mr. Riley bought be a new Rowenta! My other one has been on the fritz, which Mr. Riley has fixed a couple of times. He said he got this one 'because it looked like a phaser'. It is so pretty, and irons beautifully. I had my first Rowenta for about 15 years, so I have high hopes for this one! (I think I should have gotten a new ironing board cover as well!)
Wow, I didn't know Pottery Barn sold fabric! I wonder if you could use some of it for the Radiant Orchid quilt challenge over at the Play Crafts blog.
ReplyDeleteI like those gloves but I really like the Machingers better.
ReplyDeleteThat fabric looks luscious.
Love the Iron! And it does look like a phaser! My DH would think the same thing! The fabric is beautiful. I need to check out Pottery Barn.
ReplyDeleteWell Dang Rachel!!!
ReplyDeleteI want to get in touch with your Santa Claus because mine never brings me any presents like this!!
Nice haul! Love the hot pink fabric :)
ReplyDeleteNice presents! The Pottery Barn fabric is a gorgeous rich colour. Lucky girl! What is a phaser?
