Busy, busy this week. Lot's of stuff going on.
Finished a few more hexies (62). Looks like I haven't touched them since last October. Must have been when we went up north. About 500 more to go. I need to decide if I want to piece half hexies for the sides...hmmm. But a 10 trip to Florida and back in May should give me lots of stitching time in the car!
Started basting quilts from the pile of 7 tops. I've started with the smallest - hoping I can quilt them up quickly.
I managed to get 5 of the 7 tops basted before I ran out of pins. I have two backs to prep first, anyway.
Had to repair Mr. Riley's Flannel quilt.
It gets a lot of love/use and I must have tried a much too small seam allowance than the old flannel could handle.
A functional satin stitch solved the problem.
I've decided Ugly Quilt #2 needs to be bigger before I bother with it, so I took it off the official list, and stuck it back in my scrap box. I think it will be an on going project.
And I think I'm going to have to do the weather quilt. For now I will just note the weather & temps. I am too busy with projects, a class coming up, and some tailoring - so perhaps I will get started in March. I can always go back and do Jan and Feb at my leisure.
Check out some other WIPS.

I love the idea of embracing an ugly quilt. I think I need to add it to my list of quilts to make.
I'm not sure what an ugly quilt is, but that one needs something to pull it together.
Love that weather quilt! Intriguing! I love hexies too, but after sewing up 2 (!), I decided that they're not for me! I'll just admire others LOL!
I think the weather quilt will be great. Love the colors.
