These will be great for adding some variety to the 10 Year Hexagon Project.
And two charm packs. I won all this from Cindy at Live a Colorful Life. When she said usable scraps, she wasn't kidding! She said I could choose a charm pack. I told her to surprise me and she surprised me with two!
Now for fabric I actually had to pay for.
I finally got around to ordering the Dutch Cottage fabric. I wanted to make sure my LQS wasn't going to get it in, first. I love it even more in person!
In the sale section I ordered some Too Muchery. I really like it. I had thought of just quilting it up into an easy throw. Well apparently I didn't read the fine print, because when I ordered 2, it came in two panels (not yards) Cut separately. Oh, well. I'll figure something out, for sure.
I'm fairly sure this is close to the only fabric purchase I've done this year, just because. I really don't have immediate plans for the Dutch Cottage. Just wanted to make sure I got some. Maybe if they do a whole series of country inspired fabrics I can make heritage quilts for my kids, or something. That would be cool.

I had a little stop at the quilt store on the way home from the neighboring city, where I met my son for lunch. I just *needed* to breathe some quilt-shop air and put my hands on some fabric (not like I don't have enough, but you know what I mean).
I love that someone else does the same thing as I do--snapping up a favorite line while it's still available, and saving it for something in the future. And I laughed when you said how we all write posts about our fabric--I don't mind seeing others' stash, as long as I see some quilt tops too (which you more than admirably did this week). Kind of fun actually to see what's out there!
