WIP Wednesday 4.2.14

So what's happening this week?  Well, if you're on Instagram,  (I'm rsriley77) you would have seen my stack last night.  I've got 7 tops and 7 backs ready for basting and quilting.  Yee Haw!  All made from a super easy pattern and all destined for charity.  AND all from my stash!

The other major WIP around here is my house.  Spring cleaning.  We've been in the house now for 6 years, the longest we've been in one place and since we haven't had to do a major cleaning for moving, its high time for things to be gone through and gotten rid of.  I've been making trips to Good Will and other donation places about every other week.  It feels great!

The last WIP in progress is just getting started:
I am involved in making a 100 Blessings (wishes) quilt for friends who are adopting from China this summer.  If you know Ethan and Moriah and are interested in being a part, check out the tab at the top of the blog, or click *here*.

Linking with Lee - and Speaking of Lee, she came to speak at our Guild on Monday night.  I got to hold up her quilts!  She is a Rockstar of blogging and I'm just hanging out in the nosebleed seats!  She was really nice and it was fun to meet her and see the quilts in person.

Whoa Rachel, 7 tops and backs! So generous with your time and stash! We too are cleaning to move, after 11 years. The longest before this was 2 years, good luck with the cleaning, basting and quilting x
