Each of your houses has its own personality (if a house can have that) and I want to know about the occupants of all the houses. I also put handing pockets in all the corners of my maps quilt so I can hang it any way I want. I guess N-S-E-W directions are all a matter of "perspective."

Also, do let your blog visitors know they can view my quilt on my blog: www.patchworkbreeze.blogspot.com
Nancyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10891548132856312157noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8564846556280971762.post-9371845118922377762013-11-01T17:22:05.073-05:002013-11-01T17:22:05.073-05:00Absolutely gorgeous....so love the embroidery and ...Absolutely gorgeous....so love the embroidery and all the details that go to make it wonderful. You must be really fast at embroidery! The assortment of stitches really brought the neighborhood to life. Those railroad tracks were a very nice touch too. Thanks for the fun tour! What a fabulous art quilt you've created this time around!

I loved the guided tour of all the houses, and really enjoyed the amount of detail you incorporate through your hand stitching and your lovely and perfect French knots. That's one thing I like about your quilts--and something I need to emulate--is the use of embellishment.

I love all the little houses, the road (with the stripey line down the center), the railroad tracks. And the stippling makes it look like a green field of grass, further adding interest and texture.

So terrific! I love this--bravo!

:) ElizabethOPQuilthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08622702911207665333noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8564846556280971762.post-42929470191049051992013-11-01T07:52:54.947-05:002013-11-01T07:52:54.947-05:00I love it Rachel!
