Or perhaps Sewing some Wee Bits. :)
I don't often sew small baby clothes, its right up there with sewing doll clothes. Small and not fun. But, Miss M is so tiny, and I have lots of fabric, and I don't want to do a lot of shopping for things that she'll outgrow right away, and I'm cheap, so I've done a bit of sewing.
First up, leggings to keep her skinny little chicken legs warm. Pattern and tutorial found here.
And a sweet little dress. Pattern and tutorial found here.
And now for some baby shots.
3 weeks old, already!
I picked up some more knits from Joanns for more leggings. I think I have enough to make at least 3 out of each color.
Finally something I can sew for less than I can buy from the store!
I suspect there will be more peasant dresses in the future as well.
She is absolutely adorable!
ReplyDeleteShe is so sweet, love the tiny leggings and dress :)
ReplyDeleteRachel, she is adorable. And I have never seen a baby that small with such great hair! The clothes are great too.
ReplyDeleteThey both look like they fit perfectly, good job!!!!!! So I guess I will put the word out that Rachel sews baby clothes if anyone needs some made :)
ReplyDeleteDarling little girl. And she has so much hair. My girl was bald and my son had the hair. My mother tells me that 65 years ago she would put a bow in my hair with Scotch tape. Now there are so many cute ideas for a baby's hair. I like the pink blocks.
